Get Naked Espresso Bar (73 Mitchell Street) Newly opened, they use T’Hooft fair-trade beans, have siphon coffee and a SLAYER; they’re serious.

El Gordo
The Bendigo Corner Store Café (305 View Street) has organic, sustainable and fair-trade blends from Espresso Syndicate, as well as single origin on offer. They also grind their decaf to order – fresh! Worth the drive a bit further out of the city centre.
At the very popular, and newly expanded Old Green Bean (179 Lyttleton Terrace) Chris & Zoe roast their coffee in-house to produce seasonal blends and a changing variety of single origin offerings. They know their coffee, have beautiful baked goods on offer, vintage fashion, and a very loyal, dedicated following. Try and get a table – I dare you.
You’ll often see us at Brewhouse Coffee Roasters (402 Hargreaves Street). Rumour has it that owner Corey has travelled the world on a coffee mission and he knows his stuff (he’s obsessed, apparently), we can certainly taste it. Their coffee offerings change seasonally, and their Synesso machine makes one mean brew.
Cafe Thirty8 (King Street) now stock their coffee too, if you’re in town.
Consistently good coffee and friendly service at The Subtle Eye (Bull Street). A great place to schedule a meeting (more one-on-one, than committee size) or go alfresco and watch the world go by. They serve Illy Coffee. It’s pretty high on Petit Pixel’s list.

Simone & Randall have a very smooth organic blend from Grata Coffee.
The Dispensary Enoteca, also in Chancery Lane. A very cool place to hang out and sip a latte or two. Paste-ups and an owner with a quite decent taste in music. Service; impeccable.
Coffee Business 234 Hargreaves Street
Their business is coffee! (As well as tea, breakfast, lunch and they have a good vegetarian/vegan range).
Cafe El Beso 87 View Street
A gorgeous little place across the road from the Art Gallery. (Pssst! The chai is real here, like in proper chai).
The Good Loaf 404 Hargreaves Street
FANTASTIC bread and coffee to match – Reuben & crew make a good brew. Get the pumpkin bread, I swear to you.

El Gordo (Chancery Lane) have their own ethically and sustainably sourced blend of coffee roasted locally by Coffee Basics, their own range of crockery made by Bendigo Pottery, and a dedicated grinder for decaf beans. Niiiice
Percy & Percy brew a nice drop in their lovely shop at the corner of Hargreaves & Baxter Streets.
Cortillé (322 Lyttleton Terrace) also have suspended coffee, where you can purchase a cup for those less fortunate than yourself.
